We are fortunate at Danestone Primary to have a wide range of resources to aid our numeracy learning right through our school.
We incorporate numeracy learning into our every day activities, ensuring pupils understand the link between the knowledge and skills they are developing and the wider world.
We also use the Big Maths resources that focuses on developing our instant recall of our learn its through the Beat That activity, as well as practicing our core numeracy learning in our CLIC test.
To consolidate our learning, we use technology to access a wide range of apps and websites:
- Education City – educationcity
- SumDog – https://www.sumdog.com/
- Skoolbo – numeracy app
- NRich – numeracy website to challenge upper stage pupils – https://nrich.maths.org/
We have created a new Numeracy Google Site which is filled with useful information to help you support your child when working at home. Please let us know if you would like any additional information or if you have any questions.
